A Greek Island Wedding: Efrosini & George

The lovely Aneroussa Beach Hotel was the location for this destination wedding on the island of Andros. Not only is it a perfect spot for a wedding - it’s nestled in the cliff side on the edge of the pretty town of Batsi, where the pinks of Bougainvillea decorate every garden and square and traditional white wash villas speckle the green hills of the island. It is also the hotel that Efrosini’s parents designed and built so it’s the setting of many of her childhood summers, of swimming in the azure blue waters and playing in the hotel’s lovely grounds. It certainly beats Southwold, I can tell you. Anyway, I know this was going to be a creative celebration and I wasn’t disappointed. George, after getting ready with his boys where traditionally they help him dress, he grabbed his guitar and accompanied the musicians in serenading his bride outside her door. The crowd joined in and Efrosini signaled her approval by waving a flower, still hidden in her room. They were then married by the mayor of Andros and treated to a performance created and performed by their friends in both Greek and English. A beach buggy sped them away only to return to the party by boat at the surprise and delight of their guests and the evening really took off. Feasting, dancing and a lot of toasting they and their favourite people danced until dawn. What. A. Party. Here they are.

Oh my god…...... these are incredible.  Not just because of where it is (that helps!) but the emotion in every shot is seriously skin tingling.  The boys serenading the girls…. oh my…. so romantic!  Wonderful KP. Just Wonderful xx

I think this could be your best wedding shoot to date! Absolutely stunning. The black and white shot of the bride as she is getting ready is incredible and as she is being led down by her father - perfection. I think I need to get married in Greece now ;) x
