A London Lido wedding: Holly & Ben

When I first met Holly & Ben I knew their wedding would be a good one, but boy, oh boy, I had underestimated just how good. Being designers obviously meant it would look good, that was a given, but I was blown away by how every little detail had been thought through; from the hand designed photographs at Brockwell Lido, complimenting the art deco architecture, to the little stickers placed around their amazing modernist flat which brought a smile to my face as I nosed around. They had mood boards for each table, awesome stationery, every guest had their own doodle to contribute, as well as a stack of doughnuts instead of a boring old wedding cake. Awesome architecture, beautiful faces, sharp design, a train journey and swimming! it was everything I love rolled into a wedding. Setting aside all that, the best thing about Holly and Ben’s wedding was it’s effervescence; it was full of life, full of laughter and, of course, brimful of love. Family and friends were all massive fans of these cute-as-cute-can-be pair, it wasn’t just me. So here’s a little of how this epic London wedding unfolded.
