A Somerset country house wedding: Louise & Jack

Now that Spring is peaking through those dark winter days and life is feeling warmer, I thought I’d post this beautiful country wedding from last August, without too much painful longing for sun-filled days and balmy evenings spent outside. So it’s down to Somerset to photograph the wedding of architect Louise and musician Jack; a couple who are utterly charming, a little camera shy and very much in love. The wedding was held at Louise’s dad’s wonderful home and where my passion for interiors nearly carried me away inside the beauty of those golden stone walls. The weather was glorious - the sun pretty hot and unrelenting, even for the 3pm ceremony and guests huddled for shade under the trees in the lovely gardens before being show into the pretty marquee for supper. If someone was to look up the definition of a perfect garden party wedding they will find: Louise and Jack’s in the definition. Here’s what it looked like.

What a beautiful wedding! So many lovely moments captured and you’ve got a great eye for detail. Can’t beat the texture and soul of film photography. Louise and Jack must be over the moon with these :)
