A village fête wedding: Annie & Dickie Day 2

After the riverside delights of Annie & Dickie’s 1st mini wedding day here is Day 2 - where everyone gathered to see them tie the knot in the beautiful gardens of Annie’s family home. The wedding was a splendid country fete with fairground stalls, an ice cream van and a mean Scalectrix track. But plan a country fete and one thing is guaranteed. Rain. And rain it did. You know those heavy sudden showers that end as abruptly as they began? Yes, they made guest appearances pretty much all day (and soaked that amazing Scalectrix) but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and in between there was glorious sunshine, games and lots more lovely tartan. Such a lovely day and, what’s more, Annie’s dad made those grass steps himself!! Commitment to the cause or what? Thanks for having me A&D, it really was a pleasure.
