A Liverpool city wedding: Ellie & James

?On a bright but blustery day in the splendid city of Liverpool, Ellie and James got married.

The impressive St George’s Hall was where they tied the knot and then we all piled into an open top vintage bus and went on to party at the wonderful Racquet Club for a proper knees up.

Liverpool is where James grew up and it’s no surprise he became an architect - the city is packed with some of the best buildings and public space of anywhere in the UK. I loved it - plus the fact that they really are two of the nicest people you could meet made it a real pleasure to be a very small part of their celebration. Here are some of my favourites photographs from the day.

Photographs are film: Kodak Portra 400 & 800 & Ilford Delta 100, 400 & 3200

I would like to wish happy marriage to Ellie and James for tieing the knot. It’s time to make the adjustment in lives and create rooms for each other.

Just wonderful. Who knew a car park could be such a perfect spot for some awesome portraits. Love it!

You’ve made Liverpool look like a film set and all the guests look like stars!

Did you head there under the cover of darkness to do that heart graffiti…?

What a wonderful portrait.
